Patty’s real name . . .

We are told by Wikipedia that the name “Patricia” was “derived from the Latin word patrician,” and that this means “noble.”  That seems to fit Patty well, especially early in the Rusty Riley comic strip.

Some of you may say, “Okay, but how do you know that is Patty’s ‘real’ name?”  Well, her dad calls her that at least once.

Other names by which she was addressed (or referred to) include “Miss Patty,” “Miss Pat,” and “Pat.”
